Fog on the tickle. The stall still works.

Charger map
takeCHARGE fast sites from Galway to Labrador City, city Level 2, and the 2026 ultra-fast rollout. Filter by corridor — TCH, Viking Trail, Trans-Labrador.

Cost of owning
EV versus the CR-V, RAV4, or F-150 you would actually buy, using island electricity, $1.74 gas, six months of winter, and the federal $5,000 EVAP incentive.
Open
Federal rebate
EVAP in plain language: $5,000 this year, a $50,000 transaction cap, Canadian-made with no cap, and why NL has nothing left to stack.
Open
NL questions
Winter tires, the ferry, salt, outport panels, Superchargers that are not here yet, and what to do when Churchill Falls is the only stall for 200 km.

Live charging issues
Posted by drivers. No account. Last 48 hours counts as current.
No live reports right now. If a stall just failed you, post it — the next car on that corridor will see it.
Winter is the real spec sheet
A heat-pump crossover at −8 °C on the TCH is not the brochure. Budget 30–35% less range, precondition before you unplug, and put winters on it. The calculator uses a six-month NL winter, not a Toronto one.
Charge before you board
Port aux Basques and Argentia are the last stalls on this side of the Gulf. Marine Atlantic is not a charging plan. Hit Christopher's Hotel or the Argentia unit, then sail.

CommunityFacebook group
The daily room. Down chargers on the TCH, January range reports, used Bolts, and whether Galway is a lineup after a nor'easter. Start here before you trust a map pin.

EVAAC
Electric Vehicle Association of Atlantic Canada
The regional advocacy body — owners, dealers, and policy across the four Atlantic provinces. Useful when the question is bigger than the island: ferry corridors, OEM delays, roadshow dates.
Tesla Owners — NL
Facebook group
No Supercharger is open here yet. This is where NL Teslas talk CCS adapters, takeCHARGE etiquette, and the Halifax service run.
takeCHARGE
NL Hydro + Newfoundland Power
The public network itself. Station list, ultra-fast rollout, and how to host a stall. For a live unit, still open ChargePoint — this site is the plan, not the status light.
ChargePoint
The app that starts a session
takeCHARGE hardware is ChargePoint. Download it before you leave cell range. Waitlists, session start, and billing live here — not in Supercharger nav, not in FLO.
The island still runs on overnight power
Ninety percent of charging should happen in the driveway at ~14¢ a kilowatt-hour. Public fast charging is for the TCH, not for Tuesdays.
