An electric car charging at a fogged Newfoundland harbour, iceberg off the point.

Fog on the tickle. The stall still works.

Report a stall

No live reports right now. If a stall just failed you, post it — the next car on that corridor will see it.

Winter is the real spec sheet

A heat-pump crossover at −8 °C on the TCH is not the brochure. Budget 30–35% less range, precondition before you unplug, and put winters on it. The calculator uses a six-month NL winter, not a Toronto one.

Charge before you board

Port aux Basques and Argentia are the last stalls on this side of the Gulf. Marine Atlantic is not a charging plan. Hit Christopher's Hotel or the Argentia unit, then sail.

The island still runs on overnight power

Ninety percent of charging should happen in the driveway at ~14¢ a kilowatt-hour. Public fast charging is for the TCH, not for Tuesdays.
